We had a Family Home Evening tonight and learned about Lehi's dream of the Tree of Life and the Iron Rod. We had a 40 foot iron rod (made out of pvc pipe), a mist of darkness (streamers), Great and Spacious Building (the house), Tree of Life with the fruit thereof (tree with candy bars). We invited some other friends over and had a great time!!!

That is an AWESOME idea and I'm so going to steal it!!! =0) Were they blindfolded, or was the streamer mist enough?
the streamers mist was enough. and the Dad's stood to the side and "tempted" them with extra wii time and ice cream. it was great! next, we will go on a trek through the "wilderness" with Nephi.
