We have had our adoption paperwork in for almost a year now and haven't heard a thing, so we decided to start a family adoption plan. We could use the help of some of you.
I would like to send information packets to OBGYNs to have on hand if they have a client who is considering adoption (I got this idea from my own OBGYN who thought it was fabulous). It will include information about our adoption agency, who is not in the business of taking girls' babies like much of society think, and information about our family and our hopes to adopt. These packets will be better received from a client the doctor already has. So, we are asking our friends if they would be willing to give us their OBGYN's name and address and write a personal note to go in it. I will put the packets all together and send the mailings, but a personal note from you could make all the difference. I'll include a sample note in the comments.
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help us. We are so excited to complete our family and are ready to get the ball rolling. If you can help us, you can mail or email me your note, and don't forget to include your dr's name and address!
Thank You!! You're the best!

Here is a sample note that you could include:
Dr. Yourthebest,
We have dear friends who are looking to adopt. They are an amazing family and would be fabulous parents to another child. They are working with a great agency that is focused on the best outcome for the mother and the child, whether she chooses to place for adoption or not. Please look over the enclosed information and keep them in mind if any of your patients are considering adoption.
Thank you,
Imthebest
