Bryant had his first day of school on Tuesday. As a big 3rd grader he put up with me taking him to school for his first day but did get to ride the bus home...
He was quite excited to have one of his good friends from last year in his class and was super excited that they started learning cursive ON THE FIRST DAY! He was very proud to show off his perfect letter l.
Dalton began his first day on Thursday. I was the only mom out of the 12 or so kids in his class that actually drove him to school for his afternoon kindergarten class. Half of them just stuck them on the bus and the other half stuck them on the bus and then met them at school to see them go into class for the first time (I thought those parents were brilliant- I took mental notes of this tactic). He was SUPER excited to start kindergarten.
He was even MORE excited when he got to RIDE THE BUS HOME!!!

If we move back to Seattle we should move into your school district because our kids are in the same grades.
