Denny Creek

This Saturday, we loaded the kids up and headed off to hike Denny Creek. It's a popular local hike that crosses a mountain snow run off a little over a mile up. The stream runs over a rock face and forms a natural waterslide. You have to time it right, late spring and early in the summer, the pass is not passable or it is running too fast to play. Late summer, it is just a trickle. But, late July through August, it makes a great place to hike and play in the frigid mountain run off.
