A few days ago, we woke up to find out that we had a visitor. One of Santa's Elves came to visit us from the North Pole. He had a note that said that he got his work done early so he came to hang out with us for a while. During the day, he looks like any old stuffed elf, but while we are sleeping, he magically comes alive and gets into all kinds of mischief!
The first night he came, he was kinda tired, so he pulled up a chair in front of the tv and popped some popcorn (which spilled all over the floor!). But, he was lonely, so he pulled up some more chairs and put all of Bryant and Dalton's stuffed animals in them to watch tv with him, and that's how we found them! with popcorn on the floor and all of the stuffed animals watching tv with Benson in the middle of it all!
He's also taken a ride on our train around our Christmas tree and had a snowball fight (complete with forts) with cottonballs in the family room with the stuffed animals (but they couldn't throw back, because they are just stuffed animals, not magic elves- so Benson clearly won!)
The boys love Benson and look for him every morning. Dalton demanded we make him a bed so he has a place to "sleep" during the day so he can come alive and play at night. It is the first time I have used my childhood baby cradle with my 3 boys. Check back to see what other mischief Benson will get into!

Thanks for sharing this idea! I think your elf should do little snow angels, that looked cute! Or change the toilet paper to santa toilet paper....if Benson can find some that is! (or dye all of the toilet water red and green, green might look better.) =0)
